Loomia, a leader in the personalization space, is looking for a QA Lead You will be part of a group of talented engineers building one of the largest web content personalization services ever created. The service is already in use by millions of people each month on dozens of leading web sites like the Wall Street Journal. This is an opportunity to help create a leading quality assurance department with a team who knows the value of integrating QA into the entire software development cycle.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be both hands-on and a leader for the QA department. This is an opportunity to create a top notch QA capability in a growing startup nearly from scratch. 50% of the role is hands-on / 50% is QA leadership

We have a growing development group using an agile process with short, iterative releases. Our goal is to create an environment with robust test automation, nightly builds, and close collaboration with product managment. Some of test infrastructure is already in place, while other systems will need to be specified and built.

We are an Open Source, LAMP, Mantis, Subversion shop. Our code base contains Python, C++, and SQL code. You will have the ability to use our current QA infrastructure and propose better solutions so that we end up with a flexible, robust QA process and infrastructure.

Here are some of the things you'll be doing:

* Establish a quality assurance process and evangelize QA with other departments

* Specify and create QA tools and environements

* Develop & design test strategies, test cases, test plans, & other test specification documents

* Contribute in test planning & test execution

* Performance, reliability, and capacity testing

* Grow the QA team as our company and developement team grows

* Work with development & product management to determine resource needs, test requirements/strategy, & to report defects & ongoing testing status

* Manage bug fixes, product releases, & build activities
