Senior Account Manager, Tech Start-up

About you:
You should be excited about what you do, have lots of potential for growth and take pride in your work. While we serve a number of big name customers we are all members of a hands-on team getting things done. You should work well with either C-level execs or our clients’ engineering teams. You will PROACTIVELY focus on understanding our customer’s needs, developing and executing plans to ensure customer success, and creating great relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Sales team with assessments and engage in the sales process as needed (10%)
• Proactively manage the relationship upon deal closing, including deployment, renewals, upsells, and any service requests as they occur (25%)
• Create customer success plans that detail the customer’s goals and deployment, and diligently work with the customer and internal resources to execute the plans on time and on budget (25%)
• Work closely with marketing and sales to report back on customer success and impact customer targeting and prioritization (20%)
• Work closely with development and product management to ensure development efforts and roadmap meet present and future customer needs (20%)
Qualifications:
• Excited about the opportunity to grow with us
• Comfortable interacting with top tier customers and multiple points of contact
• Strong project management skills with proven success planning projects and executing the plan
• Responsiveness, diplomacy, capability to influence co-workers on all levels
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to create excellent relationships
• Able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures with grace and calmness
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in account management environments, ideally in enterprise SaaS or online advertising
• Bachelors degree, business or computer science, MBA a plus
